The Saturday evening kick off sees Wolves take on Reading at Molineux with the pressure starting to mount on Kenny Jackett.
Wolves are currently 17th in the table having lost both their last two outings. The club went down 3-2 to Leeds in game-week 21, before suffering a heavy 4-1 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday last time out with the pressure starting to build on home boss Kenny Jackett.
The club are just 7 points off the relegation zone as a result of their inconsistent form, although conversely they are 9 points off the play-off places.
Reading boss Brian McDermott meanwhile got his second stint as manager of the Berkshire club off to a winning start with a 1-0 win over Blackburn.
The win, a first over Blackburn since 1986, ended a run of four straight defeats and propelled the club up to 11th in the table, just four points off 6th place Ipswich.
With a place in the top 6 a real possibility for the club, McDermott has urged his players to forget about egos and focus on the job ahead.
“All those egos, we have to put those aside because they are not useful,” McDermott told BBC Sport.
“It is never about an individual, it is all about the team, it is about everybody.
“It is about all of the staff, all the players and the fans to really get behind the boys,” added the 54 year old.
Reading won 2-1 when they two sides met at the same venue last February with Danny Williams, the match-winner against Blackburn, scoring the crucial second goal.
In all the Royals are unbeaten in their last 7 meetings with the Black County outfit. During that run they have won five and drawn two.
Their last defeat to Wolves came in 2005 when they lost 2-1 at home while their last defeat at Molineux was in December 2004, a heavy 4-1 defeat.
It should be a cracker of a match.
