Ballon d’Or finalist has Man City on his radar, won’t rule out Barcelona exit

Barcelona megastar Neymar is going to be one of the most heavily pursued footballers in the world every single transfer period, but no one has made an acceptable offer to the La Liga giants – yet. Knowing full well the interest that other clubs have in him, Neymar acknowledged that he could very well leave Barcelona at some point, and that he’s being targeted by Manchester City.

Per the Daily Mail, Neymar was asked if he knew that the Citizens were interested in signing him, to which the Brazilian scoring machine replied, ‘Yes, yes.’ Though what Neymar said next was a little bit more surprising.

When asked if he thinks he will eventually leave Barcelona, Neymar replied ‘I don’t know, life is long.’

Neymar’s current deal with Barcelona does not expire until 2018 but considering his value skyrocketed for the club during the absence of Lionel Messi, a mega deal could very well be in the works. Whether or not Barcelona are the club that give it to him remains to be seen.

Along with Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar was named a finalist for the FIFA Ballon d’Or for 2015 – his first nomination for the prestigious award.
