Man United prepare January bid for £33m Brazilian winger

As Manchester United continue their eight game winless run, goals have become harder and harder to come by. With the January transfer window approaching, the Red Devils will likely need to splash some cash for a new winger to help them get better scoring opportunities. The latest target to take up that role at Old Trafford appears to be Lazio star Felipe Anderson.

According to the Metro, Man United are planning to make a transfer bid of around £33 million for the Brazilian winger, who currently has five goals this season.

To date, the only winger on the Man United team with more than two goals in the Premier League is Juan Mata, who is tied for the team lead with four.

Though he does not have the star power of a James Rodriguez, the 22-year-old Anderson is a very exciting player who scored 11 goals with seven assists last season.
