Arsenal have already booked a date for their Premier League title parade

Arsenal may be tempting fate after Islington council approved a date in May to clear the streets for a Premier League title parade, according to the Metro.

Leicester’s goalless draw with Manchester City on Tuesday sees the Gunners go into 2016 as the league’s leaders, giving the club a huge boost in their ambitions of ending an 11-year title drought.

And though it is standard practice for clubs to clear this kind of thing with their respective councils, Arsenal still have a lot of work to do to maintain the pace and steal the title from out of Chelsea’s grasp.

And Islington Council Tweeted their confirmation that May 22nd will be set for a title parade should The Gunners return home with the title.

However, one problem may arise in the fact that the Champions League final is scheduled for just one week later and this parade, should it go ahead, could prove to be an almighty distraction, should the Gunners make it to the European final.

So many ifs and buts…
