Serie A giants ready to submit shock €27m bid for Yannick Bolasie

Inter are reportedly set to offer €27m for Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie as the star man at Selhurst Park continues to enjoy a stunning season thus far.

The 26-year-old has been in great form this year, scoring four goals in 17 appearances to help the Eagles end 2015 in fifth place in the Premier League table.

Although he is under contract with the club until 2019, it appears as though the Nerazzurri are hopeful of testing their resolve with a significant bid, as reported by Calciomercato.

The current Serie A leaders are also reportedly in the hunt to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Ezequiel Lavezzi who will be available on a free transfer in the summer, while Sevilla winger Sofiane Feghouli is also understood to be on their shortlist.

However, it comes as quite a surprise to see Bolasie emerge as a target regardless of his season so far, with many in Italy particularly questioning the price-tag involved.

Roberto Mancini will undoubtedly hope to strengthen his squad where possible, and a lack of consistency from the wingers currently in his squad could lead to that area being a priority next month.

While the Congo international is currently sidelined by injury, he will be hopeful of returning as soon as possible in order to help Palace sustain their push for a place in Europe next season, while it remains to be seen whether or not a transfer to Italy materialises.
