Video: REVEALED – How Liverpool beat Sunderland; Klopp psyches out Black Cats

Liverpool picked up a 1-0 victory over Sunderland on Wednesday night, and footage has emerged which shows just how Jurgen Klopp secured the victory.

The German manager, it appears, has taken to psyching out his opponents during the pre-match warm-ups in order to gain an advantage during the contest itself.

This footage reveals the ex-Borussia Dortmund coach staring out the Black Cats players ahead of the context, an act which surely can’t have helped but intimidate the struggling north-east outfit.

Indeed, Klopp’s policy worked, with Christian Benteke scoring the only goal of the match to guarantee a 1-0 triumph for the Reds and condemn Sunderland to another defeat.

The win takes Liverpool up to seventh, level on points with struggling Manchester United, and five points behind Tottenham Hotspur, who currently hold the final Champions League qualifying place.

Sunderland, by contrast, are down in 19th, and now find themselves seven points from safety, with the prognosis looking increasingly bleak at the Stadium of Light.
