Chelsea star wants January exit despite assurances from Guus Hiddink

Chelsea striker Loic Remy is apparently still keen to make a move away from the club in January as he still struggles to make it into their first team plans, the Daily Mirror reports.

The 28-year-old is being targeted for short term loan deals by the likes of Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Swansea during the second half of the season.

However, Hiddink has already told the Frenchman that he will be given a more prominent role in first team affairs under him having featured just eight times and scoring once.

But Remy wants to fire himself into contention to make it into France’s squad for Euro 2016 in the summer and is now ready to weigh up his options before the transfer window comes to a close.

French giants Monaco are also believed to be interested in his signature after failing in a bid to bring teammate Radamel Falcao back to the club from his loan spell at Stamford Bridge.
