Chelsea recall on lone wing ace ready for first team duty

Chelsea have recalled winger Christian Atsu from his loan spell with fellow Premier League strugglers Bournemouth and will include him in their first team squad from hereon in, according to a report in Ghana Soccernet.

Atsu signed for the newly promoted Cherries over the summer and was set to spend the season on the south coast, but he has struggled for both fitness and game time during his time there.

And new manager Guus Hiddink is believed to be a big fan of the former Porto man, and has recalled him to Stamford Bridge in order to bring him into the first team squad at Stamford Bridge.

The report claims that Atsu is already training with the Blues, and Hiddink will register him at the first opportunity to give him a chance to impress between now and the summer.

Should he fail to make the grade in West London, he may be given the chance to impress elsewhere and secure himself a move away.
