Man United REJECT loan move for sought-after Belgian midfielder

Marouane Fellaini may be more valuable to Manchester United than even he realizes because the Red Devils were extremely quick to turn down a legitimate offer to take him off their hands.

According to the Metro, Man United have rejected an official offer from Serie A giants AC Milan for the big-haired Belgian midfielder. Earlier today the report came out of Italy that Milan were eager to bring the 28-year-old to the club.

Fellaini missed out on significant time this season due to Louis van Gaal’s preference towards summer pickups Bastian Schweinsteiger, Morgan Schneiderlin and Michael Carrick. So far this season he has made just five starts in the Premier League and 10 total appearances. In addition, Fellaini made one start in the Champions League and was subbed in four times.

While having Fellaini kept on the team is a strong indication that the team will need him in the future, the possibility of some other kind of deal still exists.
