Former Man United star to raid Red Devils for midfield duo

Valencia boss Gary Neville could be set to raid his former club in a bid to bring midfielders Ander Herrera and Marouane Fellaini to Spain, according to the Daily Star.

Neville’s arrival at the club has not seen any dramatic upturn in results, though they did hold Real Madrid to a 2-2 draw at the weekend.

He had also previously hinted that he was more than happy with the squad he had to work with, but given that he is yet to taste victory with the club, he could be tempted to delve into the transfer market over the coming weeks.

And according to The Star report, Neville is looking into the possibility of bringing Fellaini and Herrera to the Mestalla on loan deals until the end if the season.

Both players have struggled for form and game time under Louis van Gaal this season, but the departure of the Spaniard could prove an unpopular decision amongst Red Devils fans.

Fellaini, though, had recently been linked with a loan switch to AC Milan.
