Eden Hazard’s father reveals where £65m Chelsea star wants to play, and it’s not Manchester United

Thierry Hazard, the father of Eden Hazard, has revealed that his son is completely focused on Chelsea, despite the seemingly incessant transfer rumours linking the attacker with the exit door.

Speaking to Het Nieuwsblad [as per Goal], Hazard’s dad has insisted that despite the ongoing turmoil at Stamford Bridge, and despite the major interest from across Europe, the playmaker is thinking only of improving Chelsea’s Premier League situation.

The Blues had endured a miserable first half of the campaign, and currently find themselves 14th in the table, having amassed only 23 points from their opening 20 matches.

Despite this, Hazard is still focused on helping the Pensioners back into the top three.

“Eden is completely focused on Chelsea,” began Thierry. “He still has ambition. Winning the title is complicated, but to finish in the top three is still possible.”

According to the Daily Mail, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are all tempted by the playmaker, with new Merengues boss Zinedine Zidane admitting in April 2015 to Fifa.com that he was a big admirer of the Belgian.

Similarly, Chelsea’s EPL rivals Manchester United are also eyeing a move, with the Daily Star noting that the Red Devils are preparing an eye-watering (and ambitious) £65 million move to take the attacking midfielder from London to Old Trafford.
