Man United make £37.6m offer for prized Serie A winger

Manchester United are still eagerly looking for that dual-threat winger who can make chances as well as score. As Juan Mata and Memphis Depay continue to struggle, the Red Devils have set their sights on a Felipe Anderson – the star winger for Lazio – to pick up the slack.

According to the Metro, Man United have made an offer of £37.6m to the Serie A giants in exchange for the 22-year-old Brazilian. The deal is reportedly a £30 million up front transfer fee with and an extra £7.6 million in future fees.

So far this year, Anderson has been solid for Lazio, scoring four goals and making an assist in 11 starts and 18 total Serie A contests.

Anderson had a breakout season with Lazio last season, scoring 10 Serie A goals – a career high for the former Santos ace. He made his debut for Brazil this past summer in the 2015 Copa America.

The £37.6 million mark would potentially exceed the estimated £36 million Man United paid AS Monaco for Anthony Martial this past summer.
