Brazilian playmaker hints January Man United deal is on

Lazio star Felipe Anderson has seemingly confirmed that he is on his way to Manchester United after he refused to commit his future to the Serie A club, according to the Metro.

The 22-year-old is being tipped to head to Old Trafford this month after United reps reportedly flew out to Rome last week to help push through the deal.

Manager Louis van Gaal has been vocal about his desire to add more pace and quality into his side’s attack, which has led to reports to believe that a move for Anderson is imminent.

Anderson was left out of the Lazio side to face Fiorentina earlier this month after he suggested that he could leave the club in January, which he followed up with coy comments about where his immediate future lies.

“My future? I don’t know if I’ll stay in January,” admitted Anderson.

“I’m focused on my work because I don’t live in a good moment but I don’t know what will happen.”
