Liverpool have been backed into odds-on to sign Alexandre Pato from Corinthians this month.
North London duo Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked with the Brazilian forward, but SkyBet make the Reds the clear favourites to sign him ahead of their Premier League rivals.
They price the 26-year-old at 1/2 to make the move to Anfield before the end of the January transfer window, with Arsenal and Tottenham available at 20/1 and Chelsea also in the frame at 12/1.
Reports from Italy on Sunday evening claimed that Liverpool had agreed an £11m deal for Pato, who has rebuilt his career in Brazil after a difficult end to his six years with Italian giants AC Milan.
He scored 63 goals in 150 games for Milan before leaving the San Siro in 2013. His form did not immediately pick up at Corinthians, but he has scored 24 goals in 74 games on loan at Sao Paulo.
Several top clubs in England seem to be willing to gamble on Pato still being able to cut it in a major European league, and it appears that Liverpool are at the front of the table, rolling their dice.
