Arsenal shareholder & pundit wants Bayern Munich megastar to join the club

Bayern Munich scoring machine Robert Lewandowski has the German giants poised for yet another Bundesliga title and a deep run in the Champions League. He has been heavily targeted by Premier League and La Liga teams alike, but Arsenal shareholder and sports-mouth Piers Morgan thinks the Gunners should join the race for his signature.

On BBC 606 on Sunday, Morgan told his colleague and former club legend Ian Wright that he would like to see Lewandowski join Arsenal. Morgan, who owns several shares in the club, has been highly critical of Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger for his frequent inaction in transfer windows.

Lewandowski has scored 15 goals in 16 appearances in Bundesliga and had an absolutely legendary performance on September 22, 2015, when he scored five goals in nine minutes as a second-half sub against VfL Wolfsburg. He scored seven goals in the Champions League group stage, one of which came against Arsenal in a 5-1 win.
