Dele Alli celebrated signing a new deal at Tottenham Hotspur with a hilarious trip down memory lane.

The 19-year-old sensation has penned a new and improved contract that commits him to Spurs until at least 2021, and will see him pocket a tasty £25,000 per week, according to the Daily Mail.

Alli only linked up with Tottenham’s first team last summer after joining in a January deal from MK Dons worth £5m – fee reported by BBC Sport – and staying in League One for the rest of the season.

He has become a key player in Mauricio Pochettino’s title-chasing team, scoring five goals in 18 Premier League games, and has also made his debut for England and bagged a Wembley stunner against France.

His meteoric rise has even surprised Alli, who demonstrated how far he has come in the last five years by digging out an outrageous selfie from his early teenage years to put next to his contract signing.

Those sunglasses. That pink and green combination. The shower in the background. This selfie is a horror show from start to finish – exactly the opposite of Alli’s Tottenham career to date.

I am sure Spurs fans will agree that the midfielder looks a lot better in their famous white shirt.
