£50m EPL striking sensation should pick Real Madrid over Manchester United, says high-profile pundit

BBC pundit Ian Wright has advised Romelu Lukaku to avoid the temptation of signing for Manchester United and wait for Real Madrid to come calling.

As reported by The Sun, the Belgian hotshot appears set to leave Everton in the near future, and has his eye on a star turn with one of the continent’s giants. While Lukaku had a troubled start to life in England, where he arguably failed to make the grade at Chelsea, he has proven his class at Goodison Park.

So far this season, the hitman has 15 goals and five assists in 20 EPL outings, and it’s enough to have made some of Europe’s biggest sides take notice.

The tabloid note that United are keen on ‘£50 million Belgium international’, while Zinedine Zidane has been casting admiring glances from Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are eyeing the frontman, who could be an ideal replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the talismanic forward whose contract ends this summer.

The Sun reported that the 22-year-old is keen on moving away from the Premier League, and Louis van Gaal’s hopes of taking him to Old Trafford have been further dented by Wright’s words of caution.

“Manchester United would not be attractive to him at the moment because of the turmoil they are in,” the former Arsenal hitman began, as per The Sun.

“Because he would have to go there with a massive price tag on him and he’ll have to do it and whether he can do that is a different story, with the pressure on Man United.

“If you go to Real Madrid then you have the experience of going there, even if it doesn’t go well and you can come back to Manchester United,” the BBC 606 presenter continued.

“There is too much pressure there when they are like this, there is too much pressure when they aren’t winning.

“With the pressure they are under for not winning, they are not attractive.”
