Liverpool & Arsenal get second chance to sign South American hitman, but Chinese side nearing €14m deal

Liverpool and Arsenal may have missed out on the chance to sign Luiz Adriano during the summer, but if they move quickly, they could get a second opportunity in January.

Despite being linked to both Premier League heavyweights, the Brazilian forward ultimately opted for AC Milan when he left Shakhtar Donetsk in the summer, agreeing to move to the Rossoneri in an €8 million deal, as Liverpool turned to Christian Benteke and Roberto Firminio and Arsenal…well…refused to buy any attacking reinforcements.

However, after six months, the hitman is set to move on; despite only just beginning to find his rhythm in Lombardy—the frontman has bagged only three goals in 18 outings—Milan could already be set to cash in.

According to Sky Sport Italia [via Football Italia], Sinisa Mihajlovic’s side have received a mouth-watering €14 million offer from Chinese side Jiangsu Suning FC, who are keen to profit from the player’s struggles in Serie A.

Until a move is confirmed, both Liverpool and Arsenal could have an opportunity to match the bid and sign their man…but they’ll have to move quickly!
