Done Deal: Mohamed Elneny completes Arsenal move and poses with new shirt

Following weeks of negotiations, FC Basel midfielder Mohamed Elneny has finally completed his move to Arsenal, the club has confirmed.

It is believed that the Egyptian international has penned a four-and-a-half year contract with the club, and has singed on for a fee in the region of £5million.

Following the recent spate of injuries to rock the Gunners midfield, Elneny has come in to provide cover for the likes of Francis Coquelin, Jack Wilshere and Santi Cazorla, and could make his first appearance for the club against Stoke City.

And upon signing he posed for promotional photos in which he allowed fans to see him wearing the shirt for the first time.

He featured 28 times in all competitions in the first half of this season, scoring six goals, proving that he can make a contribution from deep.
