Chelsea midfielder wants exit: International star unhappy under new manager

Chelsea midfielder Ramires is reportedly open to sealing a move away from the club, according to reports in Brazilian publication Globo Esporte.

The 28-year-old, who only signed a new contract extension earlier this season, is said to be unhappy with his lack of playing time under Guus Hiddink and will look to consider his options in the near future.

Having featured just twice since the Dutchman took over from Jose Mourinho, he has seen himself fall behind the likes of John Obi Mikel, Cesc Fabregas and youngster Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the midfield pecking order.

He has been one of the club’s better performers during their poor start to the campaign, and he is now believed to be encouraging other teams to make a move for him.

Since joining the club from Benfica in 2010, Ramires has gone on to make a total of 242 appearances across all competitions, scoring 37 goals in the process.
