Man City transfer news: Legend may jump before he’s pushed…by Guardiola

Yaya Toure‘s vocal agent Dimitri Seluk has once again shed light on his client’s future, hinting that the Manchester City legend may be leaving the club this summer.

The Cote d’Ivoire powerhouse has been heavily linked with a move away from the club for several transfer windows, and has notably been tipped for a move to Italy.

Indeed, former coach Roberto Mancini is a known admirer of the West African’s talents, and is understood to be considering a move to take the Champions League winner to Inter Milan [Metro].

There’s also the suggestion that Yaya is not to the taste of Pep Guardiola—who has been tipped to replace Manuel Pellegrini at the end of the season [Metro]—and, at 33, the Citizens and their potentially new Spanish coach may opt to cut the big-earner loose.

Seluk has moved to fuel the transfer rumours, by insisting—to Sportitalia—that while Toure won’t be going anywhere in January, he could well move in the summer.

“He won’t move in January, but in the summer everything could change,” Toure’s representative told the Italian media.

“We’re ready to listen to every offer that will come to the table.”
