Liverpool star Mamadou Sakho’s daughter stole the limelight as the BT Sport panel discussed Jurgen Klopp side’s 3-0 win over Exeter City at Anfield on Wednesday night.
With Exeter boss Paul Tisdale joining Jake Humphrey, Steve McManaman and David James pitch-side to analyse the game, he was awkwardly cut off as Sakho’s daughter ran over to them and stood with McManaman.
It didn’t appear as though the French defender was too concerned about it though as the camera panned round to show him in fits of laughter filming the whole thing on his phone.
The 25-year-old had the night off as Klopp opted to start a number of his younger players, with Sheyi Ojo and Joao Teixeira getting on the scoresheet to follow up Joe Allen’s opener after just 10 minutes.
However, the German tactician saw plenty of positives from various individuals, although Christian Benteke wasn’t able to make the most of his opportunity as he failed to get on the scoresheet. The Belgian international did have a big part in the first and third goals though, and so it remains to be seen if it is the confidence boost that he needs.
While Reds fans would have been pleased with what they saw on the pitch, they appeared to particularly enjoy Sakho’s antics after the game. However, it didn’t look as though Tisdale was too pleased.
