Man United take teenage Victor Valdes replacement on trial

Manchester United have reportedly taken teenage goalkeeper Bartosz Mrozek on trial at the club now that Victor Valdes has departed, according to Polish publication Przeglad Sportowy.

United finally let Valdes leave his ill-fated spell at the club this week when he left to join Belgian outfit Standard Liege on loan for the remainder of the season.

And though Mrozek is only 15-years-old, United scouts have had him watched several times when he has been in action for the Lech Poznan academy, and have sprang into action to get a closer look at what he can do.

There is no mention of how long the trial will last, but United will make a decision over whether to bring him on board or not, though if they do it is unlikely that he will be in line for a first team appearance for several years.
