Liverpool players will be travelling back to Merseyside as heroes on Saturday, but one player still hasn’t earned the supporters’ love.
According to eyewitness accounts, Simone Mignolet threw his Liverpool shirt into the crowd after the Reds’ triumphant 5-4 victory over Norwich City, only for the travelling fans to throw it right back!

While there were many key performers among the Liverpool players, Mingolet—once again—failed to impress, and was at fault for a handful of Norwich goals. He was beaten by Steven Naismith—making his debut after a big-money move from Everton earlier in the week—as the Canaries made it 2-1, and was also beaten from the spot with an impudent effort from Wes Hoolahan.

Indeed, Mignolet’s mixed showing will likely only fuel the suggestion that he’s soon for the exit door at Liverpool, despite having signed a new contract recently.
The likes of Jack Butland, Steve Mandanda and Salvatore Sirigu have all been linked with a move to Anfield as Jurgen Klopp looks to solve this problem area.
