Adam Lallana snatched Liverpool a dramatic victory from the Premier League’s game of the season so far as the Reds came from 3-1 down to beat Norwich City 5-4 at Carrow Road.
Terrible defending had seen the visitors throw away an 18th-minute lead to trail by two goals, but three goals in 20 second-half minutes put Jurgen Klopp’s side in front once again.
Sebastien Bassong smashed home an equaliser for Norwich on 92 minutes, only for Lallana to pop up with the ninth and decisive goal of the match even deeper into stoppage time.
Roberto Firmino began the madness with his third goal in three league games. James Milner slipped the Brazilian in and he squeezed a shot under Declan Rudd via the far post.

But the Canaries were ahead by half-time as Dieumerci Mbokani back-heeled them level and ex-Everton forward Steven Naismith marked his debut with a strike into the bottom corner.
Reds defenders were culpable for both of Norwich’s goals and Klopp would have been tearing his hair out when Alberto Moreno conceded a 54th-minute penalty which Wes Hoolahan converted.
But Liverpool’s comeback began 60 seconds later with Jordan Henderson’s side-footed finish. Firmino then bagged his second with a composed finish from Lallana’s square pass.
Milner completed the turnaround but Klopp was seething on the touchline as his side again threw away their lead late on. Lallana turned that frown upside down in an amazing finale.
It was the England international’s first league goal of the season and took them to within five points of the top four. Poor old Klopp looked absolutely exhausted by the end of it all!
