Man united already have David de Gea replacement lined up in anticipation of Real Madrid swoop

Manchester United are apparently lining up a move for Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo as a possible replacement for David de Gea should he leave to join Real Madrid, according to Spanish publication Don Balon.

The Chilean international has been in impressive form since he joined the club, and has established himself ahead of Marc-Andre Ter Stegen as their first choice stopper, winning the treble in his first season with the Catalan giants.

But the report claims that he has a release clause of just £11.3million installed in his contract, and United are believed to be keeping tabs on him as a possible option.

Despite signing a contract extension earlier in the season, de Gea has once again become the subject of some serious speculation from Real, who could move to sign him up before their transfer ban kicks into effect.

With that in mind, United are lining up possible replacements for the Spaniard, but the report also suggests that they could face competition from Manchester City, who are also eyeing Bravo having been unconvinced with Joe Hart’s recent form.
