Man United youngster denied exit by Louis van Gaal

Manchester United youngster Andreas Pereira has reportedly been denied an exit from the club by manager Louis van Gaal and will likely stay put for the rest of the January transfer window, according to the Daily Mail.

The Brazilian is highly regarded at Old Trafford but has struggled for game time this term, and had been tipped to make a short term move away from the club for the remainder of the current campaign.

However, the move has been blocked by van Gaal, who has been criticised heavily for his transfer policy since taking over at the club and is now looking to keep hold of all the side’s promising youngsters.

Having loaned Adnan Januzaj to Borussia Dortmund over the summer, the Belgian was quickly recalled and now van Gaal is reluctant to make the same mistake twice in one season.

The 20-year-old has just nine senior appearances for the Red Devils so far, scoring one goal.
