Man United ready to beat shock Premier League title rivals to Nigerian international goal ace

Manchester United are reportedly ready to beat surprise Premier League title candidates Leicester City in a move for CSKA Moscow striker Ahmed Musa, according to the Daily Express.

The 23-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League recently and the Foxes are said to be at the front of the queue.

However, the Red Devils look ready to stump the East Midlands outfit to the punch by outbidding them. It is reported that the Russian giants have already turned down an offer of £15.1million from Leicester, as they are hoping to earn a fee closer to £18.9m.

United are hoping to get their quest for Champions League football back on track and will be buoyed by the likelihood that they will be able to offer the Nigerian international a greater financial package and a bigger platform to perform on.

Musa has been with CSKA since 2011/12, and has notched up an impressive 46 goals in 153 appearances across all competitions.
