Nigerian under-17 international captain Kelechi Nwakali is said to be en route to London to complete a move to Arsenal, according to African publication Tribune.

The youngster has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates over the past week, and reports are now surfacing that a deal has finally been agreed.

And now reports in his homeland are claiming that he and his agent are on their way to North London to finally put the rubber stamp on a potentially career changing move to join up with Arsene Wenger.

“I am going to Arsenal to work and try to be the best I can,” he said.

“With God anything is possible, to work hard to justify my claim for first team football.”

Nwakali’s international colleague Samuel Chukwueze is also believed to be on his way to the club, and his signature will likely follow up in the coming days.
