Liverpool Predicted XI vs West Ham: Klopp to ring changes but under-fire striker starts

Liverpool face West Ham United in the FA Cup fourth round on Saturday evening with Jurgen Klopp hoping to replicate their success in the League Cup.

The Reds have already booked one date at Wembley for this season, and they will hoping to take another step towards making it two, although it won’t be easy against the Hammers.

Slaven Bilic’s men have done the league double over Liverpool this season, and they will head to Anfield with plenty of confidence having lost just one of their last 11 games in all competitions coupled with the fact that won 2-0 against their rivals as recently as January 2.

However, it will likely be a different Liverpool side that lines up against them this weekend, with Klopp desperate to rest some key players after their midweek heroics.

While the likes of Brad Smith and Connor Randall are expected to be given a run out in defence, Joao Teixeira will potentially be given the nod in midfield.

However, Klopp is likely to use this Saturday’s clash to give Christian Benteke another opportunity to find his goalscoring form, with the former Aston Villa striker continuing to struggle since his summer arrival.

The Belgian international has scored just seven goals in 27 appearances in all competitions this season, and so he will be desperate to make his mark in front of an expectant Anfield crowd.
