In light of Arsenal‘s near-additions of Kelechi Nwakali and Samuel Chukwueze, West Ham United are on the brink of bringing Fenerbahce forward Emmanuel Emenike to the Premier League.

As reported by the Metro, Aziz Yildirim, the president of the Istanbul giants, has confirmed that the two clubs have agreed terms on a loan deal which will see the Super Eagles hitman move to East London for the rest of the campaign.

According to reports, the Hammers will have the option to sign the attacker permanently this summer.

The Irons have seen several attackers face injury concerns during the season, with the likes of Andy Carroll, Diafra Sakho and Victor Moses all enduring fitness problems over recent months.

The club have already lost Mauro Zarate, who departed for Fiorentina earlier in the window.

Emenike, who retired from international competition last year, spent the first half of the season on loan at Al Ain, and will join the recent influx of Nigerian talent into the Premier League.

Earlier this week, Arsenal completed a double transfer swoop for Nigerian wonderkids Kelechi Nwakali and Samuel Chukwueze, with the two U17 youngsters being welcomed to the club by Arsene Wenger and club legend Nwakwo Kanu as per the Daily Mail.
