The Foxes have a three-point lead over Manchester City and Arsenal for first-place in the Premier League, but Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri is hoping to augment his options up front to keep that lead secure. As the end of the transfer window approaches, Chelsea backup Loic Remy and Bordeaux defender Clement Chantome in a double-swoop to give his team one last boost.

According to the Mirror, Leicester City are working to secure deals for Loic Remy and Chantome in the final hours of the January transfer window. Per the source, the purchase of Remy would cost around £10 million while Chantome – should Bordeaux be encouraged to sell this term – will cost an extra £2 million.

Remy has made just one Premier League start this season, but his lone goal on the year came against Leicester City at the end of 2015.

Chantome has made 21 starts for Bordeaux in all competitions this season.
