Tottenham, Newcastle set to feature in three-way deadline-day transfer wrangle for Chelsea target

Saido Berahino‘s future could well be decided on Monday, with a whole host of Premier League sides still keen on signing the West Bromwich Albion frontman.

According to the Mirror, Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur and Stoke City all remain keen on the West Bromwich Albion forward, despite the Throstles’ insistence that they won’t be selling the Anglo-Burundian forward during the ongoing transfer window.

The tabloid report that the Magpies have already had a £21 million bid for the forward rejected, although it remains to be seen whether the north-east heavyweights will make a deadline-day bid of £25 million for Berahino.

However, Spurs and Stoke are both primed to make late moves to attempt to recruit the youngster, with both sides keen to bolster their attacking options during the ongoing window.

Chelsea could yet be primed to crash the party, having been linked to the forward earlier in the transfer window.

With Alexandre Pato arriving, the Stamford Bridge giants may not appear to have a pressing need for another offensive option, although Loic Remy, Radamel Falcao and Diego Costa have all been linked for the exit door during the current window.
