EPL side wants Real Madrid wideman linked to Barcelona & Liverpool

As part of their ambitious end-of-window investment, Watford are understood to be considering a move for Denis Cheryshev.

According to Goal, Watford have joined the bidding for the wideman, as the Hornets look to further bolster their squad following an ambitious weekend move for Mario Suarez.

Real coach Zinedine Zidane confirmed in a press conference after the 6-0 victory over Espanyol at the weekend that the wideman could well leave the club before the window slams shut, and there may well be movement on the player’ future in coming hours.

Both Liverpool and Barcelona, as well as La Liga heavyweights Sevilla, are understood to interested in the player, although Watford’s interest comes somewhat unexpectedly.

Should he move, the Hornets will surely be hoping that the attacker can bring a much-needed goal threat to Vicarage Road. While the newly promoted side are enjoying a fine campaign—and currently sit 10th in the top flight—they have been particularly reliant on Troy Deeney and Odion Ighalo in attack, and an injury to either man could derail Quique Flores’s side’s promising league campaign.
