Arsenal fans are pretty split on the Arsene Wenger stay or go debate, although we know on which side of the fence Piers Morgan falls. The Gunners’ most vocal fan cannot resist a chance to berate the boss.
And last night’s 0-0 draw at home to Southampton – a third Premier League game without a win or a goal which left Arsenal fourth in the table – prompted another Morgan tirade on talkSPORT this morning.

But a thoroughly disturbing promise that the former newspaper editor turned TV personality made during his anti-Wenger tantrum could divide Gooners even more than the future of their manager.
Prepare the sick bucket, because Morgan vowed to strip off and conga if striker Olivier Giroud, the subject of his latest frustrations, scores in the upcoming Champions League last-16 tie against Barcelona.
The Mirror quotes the former Britain’s Got Talent judge as telling talkSPORT: “If Giroud scores against Barcelona, I will do a naked conga around the Emirates Stadium. You heard it here first!”
This puts Arsenal supporters in a serious quandary. Is it worth Giroud scoring when the consequences are Morgan permanently tarnishing their beautiful home with memories of his naked streak?
The Gunners are up against Lionel Messi and company, so seem doomed for elimination anyway. Hopefully Wenger was listening and leaves Giroud on the bench, sparing us all the horror. The horror.
