Hurt Man United star is the first to send well wishes to Kurt Zouma after terrifying leg injury

If there was anyone on the planet who knew exactly what Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma must have been feeling when he went down with one of the scariest looking injuries anyone has ever seen, it would be Manchester United back Luke Shaw – who suffered a devastating broken leg of his own in the Champions League several months ago and is expected to be on the shelf for several more months.

Taking to his Twitter account, Shaw was among the first to send his well-wishes to Zouma after watching the gruesome injury occur.

The injury to Zouma occurred at the 56′ mark when Zouma landed awkwardly on his right leg while trying to jump for the ball. The leg buckled and he crumbled to the pitch, writing and screaming in agony before being carted off.

An MRI on Zouma is expected to be performed this week, but he was seen walking with crutches – his right leg heavily stabilized – following the 1-1 draw.
