Stadio Matusa will be the venue for a Sunday evening Serie A clash between Frosinone and Juventus.
The visiting side are currently second in the table on 51 points while the hosts are sitting in eighteenth position with 19 points.
Juventus have managed to string together thirteen straight victories in Serie A and in all likelihood will increase the tally to fourteen on Sunday, but manager Allegri is taking no chances, telling the Official Juventus website:
“Tomorrow’s game is worth three points just like the Napoli match. We have to go down there and get the win that would enable us to stay in touch with the league leaders.
“We dropped two points against Frosinone at home and conceded from a corner. Eight of the 24 goals that they have scored have come from set-pieces. We were caught out by one of their strengths.”
The home side, meanwhile, have lost fourteen times all season. Juventus have the potential to overtake Napoli depending on the outcome of the league leader’s match against Carpi.
Frosinone, on the other hand, are looking to climb out of the relegation zone as the season draws to a close.
Frosinone are set to be without the services of Oliver Kragl, Daniel Pavlovic and Arlind Ajeti through injury. The home side are likely to start their usual attacking 4-3-3 setup with a front line of Aleksandar Tonev, Daniel Ciofani and Federico Dionisi.
The smartest tactical approach from boss Roberto Stellone would be to defend, but the packed out home crowd are likely to encourage their side to surge forward.
With leading assist maker Daniel Pavlovic out the side the burden of attack is likely to fall on top scorer Federico Dionisi to try and make something happen against a solid Juventus defence.
Although their strong league position and impressive run of form make Juventus strong favourites for this fixtures, manager Massimiliano Allegri is aware of the dangers Frosinone pose.
When the two sides met in Serie A earlier in the season Frosinone were able to grab a point against Juventus. With a top of the table clash against Napoli on the horizon, Juventus will be keen to stay within overtaking distance of the league leaders.
Paulo Dybala will be looking to make his thirteenth goal of the season an unlikely one for the home side, while Paul Pogba is also likely to pose a serious danger from midfield.
Frosinone’s home support will be hoping that their team can overcome the odds to take something from this fixture, just as they did earlier in the season, away.
The most likely chance of getting something from the game for Frosinone will stem from being able to defend solidly and look to exploit Juventus on the counter.
This is a fixture where the chance to claim a scalp of one of the premium sides in world football could inspire something special in the home side.
