Van Gaal EXPLODES at journalist as Diego Costa’s Chelsea equaliser heaps pressure on Man United boss

Manchester United‘s recent revival was dealt a blow on Sunday as they conceded a late equaliser to Chelsea and let two points through their hands at Stamford Bridge.

The Red Devils’ performance improved—following on from last weekend’s convincing victory at Stoke City—but while they took the lead through Jesse Lingard, they had to settle for a point following Diego Costa’s late equaliser.

Speaking after the match, Louis van Gaal was forced to answer more questions about his future, in light of increasing speculation that Jose Mourinho is being eyed up for a move to Old Trafford in the near future.

LVG was furious after the match, lambasting the officials, and then taking his ire out on journalists in the post-match press conference.

Naturally, the Dutch manager was particularly livid when one journalist asked him how he felt that the club were ‘trying to replace him’.

“You have spoken with Ed Woodward?” van Gaal asked, as per the Mirror.

“Why do the club have to deny it? You are creating stories. You haven’t spoken with Ed Woodward or the Glazers and you are inventing the story. Then I have to answer that question.

“I don’t answer this question and I shall repeat myself every week.

“I have to say that you are getting the sack tomorrow. What is your name? Then I can announce the name also.

“Look at your wife – maybe you have children, or a nephew or something like that.”
