Liverpool, Arsenal & Chelsea hopes of signing South American hitman revived after China deal collapses

Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea looked to have missed out on AC Milan striker Luiz Adriano earlier in the season when the forward agreed a deal to sign for Jiangsu Suning.

However, the move fell through, and the 28-year-old—who only moved to Milan during the summer—remains at the San Siro.

According to Calcio Mercato, the striker is still for sale, and the Rossoneri remain keen on offloading the attacker, either as soon as possible or in the summer.

While neither of the player’s Premier League suitors could move for the attacker outside of the EPL transfer window, Adriano could still attempt to revive his move to the Chinese Super League.

Hebei Fortune and Beijing Gouan are both understood to be keen on the former Shakhtar Donetsk hitman, although it remains to be seen whether the player would reconsider a switch to China after his transfer to Jiangsu Suning fell through at the last minute.

With Diego Costa, Loic Remy and Radamel Falcao all linked to the exit door at Chelsea, and with Christian Benteke failing to convince at Liverpool, either EPL heavyweight may opt to move for the Brazil international during the summer.
