Video: Antonio goal in FA Cup gives West Ham United halftime lead over Liverpool

Liverpool have just 45 minutes left to overcome a one-goal deficit after going into halftime trailing West Ham United at Boleyn Ground in their FA Cup replay.

Despite an incredible effort from Simon Mignolet in the first half – making two sensational saves in the process – he was unable to make a third as a strike from West Ham forward Michail Antonio sailed into the top left corner during added time to send the two sides to the lockers with West Ham leading Liverpool 1-0.

Should Liverpool find themselves eliminated after today, it will be the earliest they have been eliminated from the tournament since the 2012-13 season, when they lost to Oldham Athletic in the Fourth Round.

Last season Liverpool went all the way to the FA Cup semi-finals under former manager Brendan Rodgers, to Aston Villa 2-1 at Wembley Stadium.

A loss today though would by no means exclude Liverpool from taking home any silverware this year. They face Manchester City in the League Cup Final later this month and are still in contention for the Europa League title.
