Alexis Sanchez is set to hold further contract talks with Arsenal at the end of the season but is keen on gaining several assurances if he is to stay, the Daily Star reports.
Reports are claiming that the Chilean wants to know what the future plans of the club are as well as agreeing to a new £160,000-a-week salary.
Sanchez is said to be happy in north London, and the Gunners are keen to capitalise on this by handing him a new three-year deal.
The 27-year-old has become one of the club’s most prized assets since arriving from Barcelona for £32million in 2014, but is now aware that he is entering his peak years and wants to make sure he makes the right decisions in regard to his career.
A hamstring injury has kept him on the sidelines recently, but he has been instrumental in their title push this season notching 10 goals in 24 appearances.
