Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is said to have identified Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Loris Karius as possible targets to help solve his goalkeeper problem at Anfield, according to Bleacher Report.

The Reds recently angered their fans when they tied down current first choice Simon Mignolet to a new five-year deal, but the Belgian international has not convinced the club that he is a sound investment since with a series of shaky performances between the sticks.

His form has seen Klopp take a second glance at the transfer market for new custodians, and the report claims that the two German stoppers are high on his list.

Ter Stegen has struggled to establish himself at Barcelona despite still being highly-rated, while Mainz stopper Karius is seen as a decent alternative in case the Spanish champions aren’t keen on negotiating.
