Video: Emmanuel Adebayor scores debut goal for Crystal Palace

Of all the players on the Crystal Palace roster to possibly end their nearly two-month winless streak in the Premier League, it probably should have been expected that Emmanuel Adebayor would be the one to do it.

With Crystal Palace down 1-0 against Watford early in their Saturday match, fans at Selhurst Park were understandably nervous considering nobody had scored a goal since late December. But that all changed in added time of the first half, thanks to an incredible header from Adebayor that slipped just out of the reach of Watford goalkeeper Gomes.

The former Arsenal, Man City and Tottenham Hotspur forward was a free agent this past winter but was wanted by precious few after being released by the Spurs back in September. He was picked up by Crystal Palace on a six-month deal.

Crystal Palace are currently on the bottom half of the Premier League table, but have a chance to finish in the top ten with a win and several other games finishing their way. To get there though, the Eagles may need Adebayor to pull off that kind of magic again.
