Arsenal and Chelsea could be set to miss out on the signature of Leicester City midfielder Riyad Mahrez as Serie A giants Juventus are reportedly lining up their own move for him, according to Italian publication Calciomercato.

The 24-year-old has been in outstanding form for the Foxes this season, and has been one of the catalysts behind the club’s unlikely title challenge.

And it has been his form this term that has attracted the attention of several of Europe’s high flyers, though this latest news could come as a blow to both Arsenal and Chelsea.

However, the same report also states that both Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund are also believed to be keeping an eye on his performances, meaning there could be a transfer scramble for his signature at the end of the season.

So far this term, Mahrez has bagged an impressive 15 goals in 27 appearances across all competitions.
