Arsenal‘s Under- ranks are about to get an injection of talent with Nigerian forward Samuel Chukwueze set to fly to London and sign on the dotted line for the Gunners this week.
According to the Metro, Chukwueze stated that he is planning to fly to London on Monday night with the intention of signing for the club. He will join his Nigeria Under-17 teammate Kelechi Nwakali, who is also a member of the Arsenal academy.
‘My trip to London is on Monday night,’ Chukwueze said.
‘I’m happy that everything is going well and I will do my best when I get there by the grace of God.’
Samuel Chukwueze won the Bronze Boot in the 2015 FIFA Under-17 World Cup after scoring three goals for champion Nigeria while adding three assists. Nwakali earned the Golden Ball in the same tournament.
