Zlatan Ibrahimovic demands translation of Serge Aurier’s homophobic rant about him

Paris Saint Germain star Zlatan Ibrahimovic has told the club that he wants a translation of the vile rant delivered by teammate Serge Aurier on Periscope earlier this week.

A video of the full-back went viral over the weekend in which he is alleged to have called Zlatan a “pussy” and even hinted at a sexual relationship between the Swede and coach Laurent Blanc.

He was then suspended indefinitely by the club pending an investigation.

Aurier also took swipes at Angel di Maria, Gregory van der Weil and two of the club’s goalkeepers in the video.

And today French publication L’Equipe published a report claiming that Ibrahimovic is understandably unhappy with his teammates comments, and wants a translation of the video from club officials.

Aurier has since apologised for the video, but several key figures in the PSG dressing room, including Zlatan and defender Thiago Silva are thought to be incensed and aren’t prepared to welcome him back.

Manager Laurent blanc will hold a press conference on Monday afternoon where he is expected to discuss the subject.
