Man United trying to land winger from Gary Neville’s side

Manchester United are not giving up on finding their next star winger as many of their starters continue to struggle. Ironically, they may be able to land their man – Valencia’s Sofiane Feghouli – without even having to pay a transfer fee.

According to the Metro, Man United are hoping to convince Feghouli to come to Old Trafford if he cannot reach a new deal with Valencia before his current deal expires at the end of the season.

Feghouli has been one of the lone stars for Valencia during their current slump under manager Gary Neville and had an assist during Valencia’s 2-1 win over Espanyol – their first since Neville took over the club mid-season.

It would be quite a coup for Man United if they could land a solid winger on a free transfer as opposed to having to pay a hefty sum like they’ve frequently done in the past.

In a five-year tenure at Valencia, Feghouli has made over 180 total appearances and scored 29 goals. He has been capped 35 times for  Algeria and has nine goals since 2012.
