(Video) Cristiano Ronaldo storms out of press conference and says former Man United teammates ignored him

Something’s got into Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of Real Madrid’s Champions League meeting with Roma this week as he stormed out of a press conference when his scoring record came into question.

The Portuguese megastar currently holds the scoring record for the tournament with a grand total of 88 goals in 121 appearances, and already has 11 to his name this term.

But despite his record, he took exception to being asked why he hadn’t found the net away from home since the 2-0 win over Eibar in November.

“Who else has scored more goals away from home than me since I arrived in Spain?” he said.

“Name one player who has scored more than me?

“No answer? Ok. Thank you everyone.”

But prior to his tantrum, he seemed to claim that while at Manchester United, the likes of Rio Ferdinand, Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes didn’t speak to him as he drew comparisons with Barcelona’s MSN partnership and his relationship with Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale.

“I will give you an anecdote: at Manchester I didn’t speak with (Rio) Ferdinand, (Ryan) Giggs or (Paul) Scholes, but we still won the Champions League,” He added.

“If people say that their friendship is better than ours, then I can’t stop them.

“But I don’t need Bale or Benzema to come to my house for dinner, the important thing is that we all get on well on the pitch.”
