Manchester United’s top managerial target Jose Mourinho is said to be in line for a shock meeting with former club Inter Milan this weekend, according to the London Evening Standard.
Mourinho has previously spent time with the Italian giants between 2008-2010 and lifted a famous treble with the club before departing for Real Madrid.
He has since returned to the Premier League, but following his second sacking at Chelsea late last year he has been heavily linked with taking over from Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford.
However, despite the links with the Red Devils, this latest report claims that he could be in line for a shock return to the San Siro, who as Inter are considering him as a possible replacement for Robert Mancini.
Mancini has come under pressure recently following a poor string of results and will be feeling the heat even more with Mourinho watching from the crowd on Sunday.
