Antonio Conte could sell experienced Chelsea pair if he takes summer job

Potential new Chelsea boss Antonio Conte could enforce a mini-clear out if he takes the manager’s job over the summer with John Obi Mikel and Asmir Begovic believed to be top of his hit list, the Metro explains.

The Italian international boss has emerged as the strong favourite to replace interim manager Guus Hiddink over the summer and is already said to be taking notes on possible changes he could make to the squad.

It is also claimed that Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan has been identified as one of his prime transfer targets, which could in turn spell the end of Mikel’s tenure at the club.

Goalkeeper Begovic is also tipped to move on this summer as well, as he has struggled to establish himself in the side this term, even as their FA Cup ‘keeper.

Both Everton and Norwich City are believed to be interested in the Bosnian’s signature and could make respective moves for his signature.
